WYNN Tip: Masking Tips

Use the Mask button on the green tool bar as an effective strategy for focusing on smaller chunks of text while reading. Text can be masked to view a line, sentence or paragraph. As with all the green tool bar buttons, rotate through the masking options by clicking the Mask button.

To turn on masking, you must be in Read-only mode.

When in Edit (Writing) mode, the Mask button is disabled. You can not turn on masking while in Edit mode.

Once masking has been enabled, you will see text masked whenever you hit the Read button to read, regardless of whether you are in Edit or Read-only mode.

You must be in Edit (Writing) mode if you wish to use color Highlights or Bookmarks while masking is enabled.

If you are in Read-only while masking is enabled, the Highlight and Bookmark buttons are not available. Switch to Edit mode to use the Highlight or Bookmark tools.
