Internet Connectivity

56K Modem from Socket Communications

This is a CompactFlash™ modem. It is "hot swappable" which means it can be inserted and removed with the PAC Mate running. It can be configured to work in most countries. Visit the Socket Communications Web site Modem page for more information.

Low Power Ethernet Adapter from Socket Communications

This is a CompactFlash device which is specifically designed to consume low power. A 10baseT connector allows you to plug into an ethernet network. You can use ActiveSync over an Ethernet connection. Visit the Socket Communications Web site Ethernet Web page for more information.

Bluetooth Adapter from Socket Communications

Use this CompactFlash adapter for wireless connections to Bluetooth™-enabled devices such as cell phones, printers, Internet access points, Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, and other computers. AmbiCom WL1100CF WiFi Adapter

CF Memory from SanDisk™ or Kingston™

Freedom Scientific has tested the PAC Mate with CompactFlash memory cards from both of these manufacturers. Store your files on CompactFlash cards up to 2 GB, available from either company. Visit the SanDisk Web site or the Kingston Web site for more information.

Secure Digital™ to CompactFlash Adapter

The CIDA2 CompactFlash adapter allows you to use secure digital (SD®) storage cards and other SD devices in your PAC Mate's CompactFlash card slots. Simply place the SD device into the CIDA2, and slip the CIDA2 into your PAC Mate's flash card slot. Printing

IrDA embossing from ACTiSYS
